WINTER BREAK Creature Camp (Ages 7-11): FEB 16-20, Half-day 9:30AM to 12:30PM
This week-long art camp is designed for young artists with incredible imaginations! Campers bring magical beings to life through painting and sculpture inspired by myth, nature, and their own creativity.
Each day includes skill demonstrations, hands-on studio time, and plenty of opportunities for self-expression in a supportive studio environment. We'll complete:
- Sketchbook warm-ups
- Skill-building demonstrations
- Guided project time
- Studio clean-up and reflection
Mediums may include acrylic painting, drawing from references, polymer clay and other soft sculpture, and mixed media work.
Our work concludes with a MINI ART SHOW on Friday, February 20th! Families are invited to a display of selected work, where our campers will talk about their creative process, building confidence and a sense of pride in their work.
This is a process-based art camp and is best suited for kids who enjoy focused creative work in a small group setting. Campers should be able to follow instructions, work independently for short periods of time, and cooperate in a shared studio environment.
Cancellations may be made up to 7 days before camp begins. All materials are included and no prior experience is required!
